Roll Handling Sleeves

Roll handling sleeves offer an easy way to enable the fork lift forks to be able to handle rolls securely and without damage caused by the corners of the forks. Three models are available each offering a slightly different feature. All the reel handling attachments are supplied with removable heel pins to secure them to the forks.

Triangular fork sleeves have been designed to facilitate the handling of cylindrical loads such as paper reels and cable drums. The triangular profile of the extensions allows the reels to sit in a V shape, this means the reel will be wedged in place, and also the sides of the reel will sit at a tangent to the extension face ensuring minimal damage.

Radiused Fork Extensions

Radiused top Fork Sleeves have been developed to aid the handling of coils or reels when they need to be handled from the inside. The rounded top of the extension sleeves reduces damage to the core that is usually caused by the corner of the fork. By using twin separate extensions the distance between the forks can be positioned to give maximum stability of the coil to prevent rocking.

Coil Support Extensions

Coil Support Sleeves are the ideal choice for handling larger coils and reels internally. The heavy duty design slides over both forks simultaneously to provide a wide base and semi circular top. This large bearing service reduces coil movement and while providing the secure frame to handle large weights. Ideal for use with steel coils & rolls of wire.
